Tetraethylammonium bromide (TEAB), belongs to Quaternary Ammonium Salts. Easy to absorb moisture and soluble in polar solvents such as Water and Ethanol. It is mainly used as a phase transfer catalyst in organic synthesis, and is also used in ion- pair chromatography, metal detection, and the development of antibacterial materials.
