Used as main raw material to make quaternary ammonium compounds Trioctyl Methyl Ammonium Chloride.
Used as an extractant for precious metals. In the metallurgical industry, it is used to extract and separate Cobalt, Nickel, Actinide and Lanthanide elements.
Used for organic synthesis. It is a heat-resistant, solvent resistant, polymeric rubber anti-aging agent, and an intermediate in the synthesis of NAPM.
Used as surfactants and extractants.
