Easy to absorb Carbon Dioxide, strongly alkaline, highly corrosive. Widely used in many fields, as the most common Quaternary Ammonium Hydroxide. 25% in Water made by electrolysis with starting materials Trimethylamine and Dimethyl Carbonate. 25% in Methanol made by synthesis with starting materials Tetramethylammonium Chloride. 98% Pentahydrate made by concentrated crystallization after electrolysis.

Easy to absorb Carbon Dioxide, strongly alkaline, highly corrosive. Alkali strength is comparable to Sodium Hydroxide and Potassium Hydroxide. Made from Quaternary ammonium salts normally via electrolysis or synthesis.
